Stevens Construction provided a complete interior renovation of the two-story 25,374-square-foot building which included an upgrade of all exam rooms, nurse stations, offices, lobby and the cardiac PET equipment. Stevens Construction also expanded the existing building with the new construction of an ambulatory surgery center.
The multi-phased project was licensed by the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA). Located at 1550 Barkley Circle, Florida Heart Associates remained operational and occupied during construction, requiring daily coordination between Stevens Construction and Florida Heart Associates.
The Stevens Construction team worked in preconstruction for six months prior to construction starting providing budgeting, constructability reviews and cost-savings suggestions.
