FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 1, 2021) – Stevens Construction has started construction of the new corporate headquarters of Frantz EyeCare, announced Dan Adams, vice president/principal, Stevens Construction, Inc.
Located at 9617 Gulf Research Lane, the 60,000-square-foot, two-story building will include an AHCA-licensed surgery center with four operating rooms complete with sterilization and recovery. The first floor will house the surgery center, a laser vision correction suite, cosmetic center treatment rooms, eye examination pods, retail area and an expansive lobby. The second floor will encompass the administrative offices and space available for lease.
Designed to promote staff efficiency, quality data collection and a unique patient experience, Frantz EyeCare is slated for completion in Winter of 2022.
The Stevens Construction team worked in preconstruction for ten months prior to construction starting providing due diligence on the project site, budgeting, constructability reviews and cost-savings suggestions to ensure Frantz EyeCare’s budget, schedule and quality goals are achieved.
The Stevens Construction team includes project manager, Jon Zander; superintendent, Jamie Bridges and project administrator, Rebeccah Cabana. The design team includes: Gordon & Associates Architect, LLC, Southview Studios and Quattrone & Associates, Inc.
