Stevens Construction has served as the construction manager for the Florida Hospital Apopka’s minor projects completing such projects as medical office renovations, laboratory and corridor upgrades.
The Florida Hospital CT Renovation Project consisted of the interior renovation of existing hospital space to create a new CT procedure room, patient restroom, family waiting area, and control room area. This project was constructed adjacent to occupied areas of the Hospital and Type III ICRA was required and in place for the duration of the project.
Stevens Construction installed of a new Philips Ingenuity CT allowing the hospital to open a CT Suite with two fully operational CT machines that share a control room. A new AHU, existing building structural modification, upgraded CEP electrical gear, and the rerouting of smoke compartment walls were also part of this project.
